ABOUT POSTERITY
For most of my life, stability felt out of reach. I grew up moving between households, living off welfare, and learning how to survive by any means necessary. That environment built resilience, but it also put me in constant survival mode. Focused on getting by, not building something that would last.
On paper, I was doing everything “right.” I graduated college. I started a business. I kept pushing forward. But when I became a mother in 2020, I realized I was hustling backwards. Despite all the effort, I was still living in public housing and barely getting by. The grind was constant, but the foundation was fragile.
That realization changed everything.
I made a promise that my daughter’s life would look different. Rooted in security, stability, and opportunity. I began learning and applying wealth principles that prioritized longevity over survival. Slowly, things shifted. I earned more, invested intentionally, and built assets instead of just income. For the first time, I felt peace, not because life was perfect, but because her future felt secure.
Over time, I saw how assets don’t just change bank accounts, they change trajectories. But wealth alone isn’t enough. I didn’t just want to pass down money, I wanted to pass down understanding. Knowledge is the difference between inheritance and legacy.
With a background in product development and design, the most natural way for me to teach her wasn’t through lectures or spreadsheets, it was through experience. Books, games, and tools that made abstract concepts tangible and engaging. As we practiced together, it clicked. She was excited to learn, and the lessons stuck because they were lived, not forced.
That’s when Posterity took shaped.
